50 - 50 Club


Every year our club has continued to grow and we now provide more opportunities than ever before for boys and girls to enjoy playing football. Due to the increase in club size, the clubs running costs have also increased, for example; increased pitch hire fees, additional pitch hire venues, more equipment and team clothing. As a club we are always looking for ways to raise money whether it be sponsorship or fundraising events. In the 2018-2019 season we introduced the 50/50 club, which proved to be a huge success. This summer, the club will be re-investing the money raised last season for new equipment that will be available to use for everyone and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who entered.

For those new to the 50/50 club, it is a monthly prize draw where members pay £1.00 for each entry and will receive an individual number in the lottery draw. There is no limit to how many times you can enter each month and for every £1.00 entry the club will benefit £0.50. The other £0.50 will be used to form a monthly cash prize fund which will be broken down into 3 prizes as follows;

2nd 30%
3rd 20%

With nearly 400 children currently playing football at our club each week the potential Prize Fund could be in the region of £200.00 if each participant had just one entry per month. This would also mean the top prize could be £100.00 in cash per month! With your support we hope we will exceed this expectation.

The Draw will be made at the last home game of each month and you will need have made your entry by the 20th of each month. We will be making a total of 10 draws for the season starting in September 2019 and finishing in June 2020.

There are several ways to enter:

1. Pay £1 per entry to your manager
2. Pay £1 per entry directly to the club bank account. (as referenced below)
3. Set up an additional monthly standing order by the number of entries you would like to make (for example if pay £2 per month, this will qualify for 2 entries to the prize draw).
The standing order will need to be a separate payment than your existing subs on the 1st of each month and referenced:

5050, YOUR NAME, TEAM NAME (For example: 5050 J Bloggs BLADES)

Why not guarantee your entry for the season by:

1. Paying £10 per entry to cover you for the season to your manager
2. Paying £10 per entry directly to the club bank account.

Remember there is no limit to how many times you can enter. The more you enter the bigger the prize fund, the more money raised for the club and the more chances of winning!
